Chad finished winter semester!  I am so proud of him! Just in the nick of time to have some fun! This last week we had visitors galore! Two suprises! Sadie and her boys came on Monday and Tuesday, they were not planning on coming, but are sure glad that they did.  On Monday we went to hobble creek, and then on Tuesday we went to the play area at the mall, the disney store, and then to cabelas.  It was so great to have them, it was sad to see them go.  Adam and Amy were our second suprise on Wed. evening!  On Thursday we went to lunch with Nana and papa at the hospital, and then they were kind enough to watch the kids while the adults went to dinner to celebrate Chad's last day of finals.  On Friday afternoon I got to see my dear friend AmyAnn and her husband Brooks, I also got to meet little AveryAnn, it was so fun to watch the littles interact with each other.  Then on Friday evening we went to watch Grant throw discus and then back to Nana's and Papa's house for a picnic dinner.  Saturday morning Chad and I heard a knock at the door early in the morning, it was Thurman.  He informed us of Rosemarie's kidney stone in the middle of the night, and that she would need surgery.  We felt so bad that the party went on for us, as Rosemarie suffered at the hospital all day Saturday.  We were able to go to  Grant's track meet, he is the man!  He got his PR of 54'-11 1/2"!  Afterwards we went to Thanksgiving Point to the dinosaur museum, it was great.  It was again sad to see Adam and Amy and the kiddles leave today.  The world seems a little bit empty (I mean a lot) empty when they leave.  We wish that we could live next door to all of our family members.  We are grateful to be part of such amazing families.  We are grateful that Rosemarie is feeling much better.

We Made It!

Her new bottom lip thing!

Traditional Evans clothes nest and what the Easter Bunny left behind

I made these little cakes with marzipan cherries.  I thought they looked good, but Chad's apple pie was what DELICIOUS!

BYU has one the most amazing walking paths with trees, flowers, stream, pond, and waterfalls.

It was very tempting for Holland Rose

She wanted to go in all by herself, Miss Independant!

The water was cold!

Dad was at the library, so we ate icecream!

Thank goodnesss for her own size lawn chair (Thanks GrandMary and Grandpa Tom)

I am so proud of Chad, he is doing amazing in school and was offered a full time job with seminary(which is not an easy thing to do)!!!  We are not sure were we will end up until May.  Kind of scary, and kind of exciting!  It has been a great fall and winter semster.  We have been in love with Holland and watching her grow up, it has been great to be close to family, and the weather was beautiful!  It has also been a hard two semesters.  Chad has had a lot on his plate.  He has gone without a lot of  sleep, handled a very heavy work load, and held up under the pressure and scrutiny.  Although my life is pretty ideal and simple, I have missed my husband.  I love him so very much, and we have so much fun together. I am counting down the days until I can get him back! Chad often wakes up very early, he tries to spend an hour or two with us for dinner and Holland's bath, then heads back to the library until late into the night!  It has been worth it, he has a 4.0 gpa, he was accepted to grad school at BYU(also not an easy thing to do), and a future job for our little family.  Chad is almost there, he has a very heavy load until August, but I am sure he will handle it like a "pro"(a term his 9th grade seminary student use).  Luckily Holland is very entertaining and very fun to hang out with.  She makes me laugh every day.  She started to give us kisses today!  She pulls on your finger and tries to get you to take her outside.  She is starting to show her independance, she knows what she wants.  She already has a sense of humor.  She makes friends everywhere we go, seriously loves people! She is starting to love food, mostly fruit, luckily because I am in the process of weaning her.  She is a sweet heart, she is BUSY, she loves outside, she loves people and especially her dad, and I can't believe how fast she is growing up!  I love my husband and my baby girl, I am so blessed!

Thomas came and asked me to take a picture of him.  You are very handsome, little man

Holland was obsessed with Brady, she was super bossy too.  She would grunt and point, and Brady did what ever she told him to do

Standing in line, so fun?!

Wild woman!  She was so cranky by the end of the night

I had a great time in Idaho.  Alisa and my mom came to Provo on Friday to pick up Holland and I.  We had a nice dinner at Maddox's on the way home.  We had the bridal shower on Saturday, I forgot to add the sugar to the haupia pies, and had to add it at the last moment.  They were ugly, but still tasted great.  I then  had a great week of shopping and preparing for the wedding.  Holland and I were sure missing Chad and were soooo excited to see him on the following Friday.  Alisa's wedding was great.  I especially loved the temple.  It was a great day, but by the end of the week we were exhausted!  I miss my family already, but grateful to be home with my own little family.  Sorry, I have so many stories to tell, but I am tired.  Good Night!
